“Respect for children as people”
The good in children grows with joy
We place the utmost importance on treating children with genuine love, listening to their hearts, and respecting their thoughts. By having their thoughts and feelings valued, children learn that they are important and in turn learn to care for others. This sense of self-affirmation developed early in their childhood and the love for others based on it will stay with the children and sustain them throughout their lives.
Through being loved, they learn to love themselves and also others, and through spending moments of happiness together, they learn the beauty of living with one another. In this way, the good in children grows with the joy they experience.
“Raising children in a real-world environment”
The wonders, discoveries, and impressions that come from play
Learning happens when children are absorbed in play
Real learning can be found in the play that children create on their own every day. Our children are encouraged to ask questions like “Why?” and “What should I do?” Then by repeatedly experimenting, noticing things, and making discoveries, they then say “Oh, I get it!” and “This is interesting!” We place the utmost importance on this type of hands-on learning. Through this immersive type of exploration, the things they learn from experience and joy that children feel when learning something new on their own will remain with them and serve as a foundation for lifelong learning that will benefit them throughout their lives.
When children are absorbed in play, that is the moment when they are truly learning.
