One of the biggest events at Yamanashi Gakuin Junior High School is the language study program in Australia. In the latter half of their 3rd year, all students stay in Australia for two weeks (four weeks for those who wish to stay longer) to develop their language skills and international awareness by studying English at a local school, taking part in a homestay, and spending time with their host families.
